Artwork made specifically for your order

Every ELICEC artwork is produced specifically for you after we receive your order, in your chosen size and finish. We therefore do not hold stock of ready-made artworks.

We ask you to choose carefully before placing your order. Check your preferred size and the available wall space, and review the product images and interior photographs to get a good impression of how the artwork will look in a room.

Our artworks are not intended for ordering multiple finishes or sizes to try at home before deciding which to keep.

The fact that an artwork is produced specifically after you place your order does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal where this right applies by law.

Statutory cooling-off period

Online purchases are generally subject to a statutory cooling-off period of 14 days, starting on the day after you receive the artwork. During this period, you may notify us that you wish to cancel your purchase without giving a reason.

You do not have to wait until the artwork has been delivered to exercise your right of withdrawal.

After notifying us of your withdrawal, you have 14 days to return the artwork.

Requesting a return

Would you like to exercise your right of withdrawal? Please notify ELICEC, providing your name and order number. We will then provide the information needed to process your return correctly.

You can contact us at info@elicec.com.

You may also use the statutory model withdrawal form to withdraw from the contract.

Return costs and shipping

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the artwork.

Depending on the size selected, our artworks can be large and may not be suitable for standard parcel services. Return shipping costs can therefore vary considerably. These costs depend on factors such as the size, carrier and shipping service selected.

The artwork must be packaged carefully, preferably in its original protective packaging. We recommend using a tracked shipping service with appropriate coverage for the value of the artwork.

You are responsible for the risk of loss or damage during return shipping until we have received the artwork.

Condition of the artwork

During the cooling-off period, you may inspect and assess the artwork to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, in much the same way as you could reasonably do in a physical shop.

If you handle the artwork beyond what is necessary to assess it and this results in a reduction in value, we may charge you for that reduction.

We therefore recommend that you only permanently mount the artwork once you have decided to keep it.

Refunds

If you validly exercise your right of withdrawal for the entire order, we will refund the purchase price, including the original cost of standard delivery. If you selected a more expensive shipping method than our standard delivery option, we are not required to refund the additional cost.

If you return only part of an order, the original shipping costs will not be refunded to the extent permitted by law.

We will issue your refund no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notification. We may withhold the refund until we have received the artwork or you have provided evidence that you have sent it back, whichever occurs first.

The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise with you. We will not charge any fees for processing the refund.

Damaged artwork, an incorrect item or a manufacturing defect?

If your artwork arrives damaged, you receive an incorrect item or there is a manufacturing defect, this is not treated as a standard return under the right of withdrawal.

Please contact us as soon as possible at info@elicec.com, quoting your order number. Where possible, include clear photographs of the artwork and, in the case of shipping damage, the packaging as well.

We will assess the situation and arrange an appropriate solution. You will not be responsible for the costs necessary to resolve a valid claim concerning a damaged, incorrect or defective product.

Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
